I was expecting to go through Salt Lake City on my flight (s) home from Idaho, however I wasn't expecting to fly over the southern United States and hit the Eastern time zone before arriving in Minnesota 3.5 hours later than I was scheduled.
Good news is that I earned just shy of 3,000 miles toward a free ticket instead of the 1,142 miles I was expecting.
