My friends at The Tangled Skein just got these in... it's a good thing they showed me the pattern for the great bags first or I might be really wondering what those ladies were up to!

I finished up this great gwynedd hat from the new KnitScene magazine and really like it... too bad I don't look very good in most hats!

It is knit with 1.25 skeins of Classic Elite Fresco yarn in a gorgeous purple color that my camera just doesn't want to capture very well.

Today a friend and I spent the entire day driving to 5 different yarn shoppes in the twin cities... 200 miles filled with fibery goodness! 

How appropriate that Elizabeth Zimmerman was born 100 years ago on this day.  Here is a sampling of just some of her designs on Ravelry

Phew.... I'm off to relax in the air conditioning and fondle some of my new yarn!
